Overview

Conceived as a challenge between twin brothers, The Dick's-A-Thon has grown into Seattle's premiere marathon challenge. Participants must run to five different locations of the local favorite Dick's Drive-In and eat something off the menu at each stop. With over 600 people participating last year, what started as one man's way to bond with his brother has ballooned in scope into a non-profit that seeks to raise money for local search and rescue teams, but, how did it all begin? How has it gotten so big? And when is the best time during a marathon to drink the milkshake?
